Thank goodness God is in charge. When we decided we were ready to think about a second child, we not only thought about our own circumstances, but we also considered Parker and how far apart we wanted our kids to be in age. I am so grateful that I am pregnant when I am because three is the ideal age for Parker. He is so excited about the baby and is constantly asking questions, like, "will the baby be able to walk when it gets here?" Or telling me how he is going to be careful around the baby, "I be careful and not throw my ball around the baby." Or giving name suggestions, "let's name the baby Arthur Brown because I'm Collin Klein."
Today was our 20 week ultrasound. Parker has had a never-ending sinus infection with an added fever for the last three days and couldn't go to school so he had to go with us. So glad he did. The technician was going through all of the different body parts and explaining what we were looking at; when she got to the heart, Parker said, "but where's God? I don't see God."
He always talks about how God is in his heart and that God is everywhere and God made everything. Apparently, seeing the inside of a heart was just too confusing, but so, so precious. I just love him:).
