breaking through the language barrier...

This afternoon we went to the park near our home.  While we were there, a little boy and his dad came who obviously did not speak English.  Parker immediately ran up to the boy and began playing peek-a-boo.  Luckily, peek-a-boo is universal:).  After a while of trying to communicate about who got to drive the "big truck" (ok, so I have no idea what the other kid was saying, but P was saying, "my turn to drive big truck"), they just started barking.  Yes, barking, like dogs.  Apparently barking is also  universal they played great together after they realized all they had to do was "bark".
